There are signs that good results occur when implementing smart services and technologies. Users experience indicates that the technology is perceived as a benefit for citizens whose level of function and quality of life have been strengthened. Researchers must give high priority to teaching future healthcare Professionals as well as researching and developing new smart services and smart technologies. Furthermore, there are strong focus on the work with the implementation and quality processes, which should to be improved, as these are often challenged by inertia in the adaptation of digital competencies and workflows in the healthcare sector. The academic sector needs to research in and develop smart services; to develop knowledge and skills in smart technology; to understand, plan and analyze the implementation process for smart services, and to teach technology and smart services in various health educations
